Job summary

Radiansys Inc. seeks a seasoned 4G/5G Network Element Platform Software Lead/Architect to design and deliver Linux-based platform software for RAN and Core Network elements in a high-performance environment.

You will drive development, debugging, and deployment, mentor teams, and optimize packet processing with DPDK, VPP, OVS/OVN, XDP/eBPF, and DOCA in a containerized stack.

Qualifications

5+ years of 4G/5G Platform Software Development experience.
Proficient in C/C++ with working Python knowledge.
Deep Linux system/platform programming expertise.
Hands-on experience with DPDK, VPP, SR-IOV, RDMA, OVS/OVN, XDP/eBPF and DOCA.
Experience with hardware acceleration (SmartNIC/DPU/FPGA/ASIC/SoC/GPU).
Strong knowledge of 4G/5G RAN, Core Network and O-RAN.
Networking expertise in Ethernet, IP, TCP/UDP, SCTP, GTP‑U and PTP.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and containerized network platforms.
Ability to design multi-process and multi-threaded software and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, debug, and deploy 4G/5G Network Element Platform software.
Develop and optimize Linux-based bare-metal and virtualized platform solutions.
Work on high-performance packet processing using DPDK, VPP, DOCA, SR-IOV, RDMA, OVS/OVN, XDP and eBPF.
Design scalable, resilient, low-latency, deterministic, highly available systems.
Perform root‑cause analysis for packet loss, NUMA issues, interrupt storms, VF attachment, pod networking, and time synchronization.
Lead technical reviews, mentor platform software teams, and drive large-scale 4G/5G platform development.

Job Description: 4G/5G Network Element Platform Software Lead / Architect

Experience: 5+ Years

We are looking for an experienced 4G/5G Network Element Platform Software Lead / Architect with strong hands‑on expertise in the design, development, optimization, debugging, and deployment of Linux-based platform software for 4G/5G RAN and Core Network Elements. The candidate should have deep knowledge of telecom networking, high-performance packet processing, hardware acceleration, and cloud-native platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, debug, and deploy 4G/5G Network Element Platform software.
Develop and optimize Linux-based bare-metal and virtualized platform solutions.
Work on high-performance packet processing using DPDK, VPP, DOCA, SR-IOV, RDMA, OVS/OVN, XDP and eBPF.

Mandatory Skills
