Job summary

Litmus7 Systems Consulting seeks a seasoned logistics IT specialist to optimize warehouse operations for a 3PL. You will work with live warehouse systems, understand end-to-end order journeys, and translate operations issues into precise system requirements.

Responsibilities include guiding WMS integrations to OMS/TMS/ERP, performing SQL-driven data investigations, and supporting peak-season volume events with clear communication to both floor staff and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• 5+ years of experience supporting a 3PL in live warehouse/distribution center environment (e.g., Manhattan, Blue Yonder/JDA, FDM4 or similar).
• Solid understanding of core warehouse operations and order journey: receiving, put-away, replenishment, wave planning, picking, packing, shipping, and cycle counting.
• Experience with 3PL WMS integrations to OMS, TMS, or ERP systems and understanding of interface/event-driven data flows (EDI, APIs, message queues).
• Working knowledge of SQL for data investigation and reporting (able to write and modify queries independently).
• Ability to translate operational issues into clear, actionable system requirements and communicate with warehouse floor staff.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical issues to non-technical staff and operational context to technical teams.
• Experience supporting peak-season volume events (e.g., holiday retail surge).
