MAAC is immediately Looking for passionate and technically proficient 3D and VFX Faculties / Trainers who can inspire, mentor and develop aspiring 3D and VFX artists and creative professionals for Mumbai location.

The ideal candidate should have strong fundamentals in 3D production or VFX compositing, hands-on expertise in industry-standard software, and the ability to translate technical concepts into engaging, practical learning experiences.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for 3D Trainer or VFX Trainer.

Responsibilities:

• The candidate will be responsible for conducting engaging and hands-on training sessions covering fundamentals, software applications and production workflows as per MAAC's curriculum on a day-to-day basis.
• Timely Upgrade to new technologies/softwares as per Industry standards.
• Participate in technical workshops, masterclasses, student competitions, creative challenges and other MAAC academic initiatives.
• Conduct technical demonstrations, creative workshops and college seminars to introduce prospective learners to opportunities in 3D Animation and related creative industries.

Technical Competencies for 3D job role

• Strong understanding of 3D modelling, UV mapping, texturing, materials, lighting, rendering, animation principles and Dynamics.
• Understanding of composition, colour, form, visual aesthetics and storytelling principles.
• Proficiency in 3Ds Max, Maya, Substance painter, Zbrush and relevant 3D softwares
• Familiarity with Blender, Unreal Engine, Unity will be preferable.
• knowledge of any of the softwares like Photoshop, Premiere, AfterEffects softwares etc. will be an added advantage.
• Emerging Technologies like Knowledge of AI-assisted 3D content creation workflows and emerging generative AI applications.

Technical Competenciesfor VFX job role

• Sound knowledge in all type of compositing modules.
• Candidate should be well-versed with Nuke, Mocha, silhouette, aftereffects, premiere, Audition and other relevant softwares
• Knowledge of Houdini, Katana, Da Vinci resolve will be preferable.
• Emerging Technologies like Knowledge of AI-assisted VFX content creation workflows and emerging generative AI applications.
• Strong attention on detailing and creativity.
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
• Should be a fast learner.
• 1-2years of Training or Faculty experience is preferable
