Job summary

EXL Talent Acquisition Team is seeking a skilled Node.js Developer with 3–5 years of experience to join our team in India. You will build scalable, real-time applications using Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Responsibilities include designing and maintaining server-side services, implementing real-time data and audio streaming, managing WebSocket connections, and securing APIs with OAuth2/JWT.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and server-side deployments.
• Proficient in data streaming and audio stream processing.
• Experience with WebSockets for real-time communication.
• Strong knowledge of authentication and authorization standards (OAuth2, JWT).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Version control with Git; basic CI/CD and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes is a plus).

Required skilled and passionate Node.js Developer with 3–5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and be proficient in data streaming, audio stream processing, WebSockets, and authentication/authorization mechanisms. You will play a key role in building scalable, real-time applications that deliver high performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications using Node.js.
• Implement and manage real-time data and audio streaming solutions.
• Integrate and manage WebSocket connections for real-time communication.
• Develop secure APIs with robust authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT, etc.).
• Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Required Skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Good to have certifications in cloud technologies (AWS Certified Developer, Azure Developer Associate, etc.).
• Experience with message brokers like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or MQTT.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Working Hours
