Job summary

VMC Soft Technologies, Inc in Bengaluru is seeking a Functional QA with strong Python and Selenium skills to test video and OTT applications across iOS, macOS, web, and third-party devices. You will define test strategies and execute comprehensive testing to ensure quality of streaming products.

The ideal candidate has 6–12 years of QA experience, hands-on network monitoring with CharlesProxy or Wireshark, and is proficient in Python/Selenium automation.

Qualifications

• 6 to 12 years of QA experience in video/OTT applications.
• Must visit Bengaluru lab in person from Day 1.
• Experience testing streaming video apps on iOS, macOS, web and third-party devices.
• Extensive use of network monitoring tools such as CharlesProxy or Wireshark.
• Functional test automation using Python and Selenium.
• Experience triaging bugs and writing detailed bug reports to closure.
• Knowledge of command line to collect logs and diagnose problems.
• Ability to work cross-functionally as a problem solver.
• Excellent written and technical communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define test approaches and strategies, and execute functionality, compatibility, integration and reliability testing for streaming video applications.
• Triaging bugs and ensuring detailed bug reports are created and bugs closed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose and resolve issues.

Job Description:-

Functional QA with Python Selenium Scripts running knowledge

Must visit Bengaluru lab in person from Day1

Experience working on Video and OTT application testing - for example Apple TV or TV OS (or other similar Applications)

• - Expience in testing products such as VoiceOver, Dynamic Type, Hover Text, and Full Keyboard Access
• - Be le to define test approaches and strategies, as well as execute functionality, compatibility, integration and reliability testing for streaming video applications running on iOS, macOS, web & 3rd party devices (like LG TVs, Roku, Amazon Fire TV stocks etc.).
• - Extsive experience in using CharlesProxy or Wireshark use of any such network monitoring tools.
• - Expience in functional test automation using scripting language - Python & Selenium
• - Expt in triaging bugs, writing detailed bug reports, analyzing logs & taking bugs successfully to closure.
• - UniTerminal Knowledge - Experience using command line interface to collect logs and diagnose problems
• A track record of working cross-functionally as a problem solver.
• - Exclent written and technical communication skills.
