Job summary

Jithvar is looking for a Quality Analyst (QA) with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will work with Selenium for automation and JMeter for performance testing, and will contribute to test planning, execution, and defect reporting.

The role requires strong understanding of testing methodologies and the ability to work from our Lucknow office. Responsibilities include designing test scenarios, creating test cases, executing various testing

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance / Software Testing.
• Bachelors degree in BCA, B.Tech, or related technical field.
• Hands-on testing experience in Manual and Automation Testing.
• Experience with Selenium for automation testing.
• Experience with JMeter for performance testing.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies and processes.
• Ability to create and execute test cases and test scenarios.
• Ability to identify, document, track, and follow up on defects.
• Understanding of functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and performance testing.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Office-based in Lucknow.

Responsibilities

• Understand project requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
• Perform manual testing of web and software applications.
• Develop and execute automation test cases using Selenium.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and integration testing.
• Conduct performance testing using JMeter.
• Identify, document, and report bugs and defects.
• Track defects and coordinate with developers for resolution and retesting.
• Perform regression testing after bug fixes and new releases.
• Participate in test planning and contribute to overall QA activities.
• Maintain testing documentation, test cases, and test reports.
• Ensure applications meet functional and quality requirements before release.
• Contribute to improving testing processes and overall product quality.
