Job summary

Tecnimont is looking for a 2D Design Application Administrator in Mumbai, India. The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in any Engineering discipline and 3 to 6 years of experience. Responsibilities include managing and configuring software systems like SPPID, SPI, SPEL, and SPF, aligning with large-scale project requirements.

Key skills involve strong knowledge of Oracle/SQL databases and programming in ASP .Net. The candidate will also provide technical support to design teams and ensure effective integration with other Smart Plant tools.

Qualifications

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain SPPID, SPI, SPEL, SPF software and databases.
• Develop and manage symbol libraries, templates, and project standards.
• Ensure data consistency across P&ID drawings and database maintenance activity.
• Knowledge about workshare environment.
• Familiarity with all the modules such as Data-Dictionary, Filter, Option, Format, Rule Managers.
• Conversion of database from Oracle SQL – Oracle.
• Manage instrument index, datasheets, and loop diagrams at the system level.
• Knowledge about Import Module, Infomaker customisation of PSR reports and specification sheets.
• Create and maintain project templates, standards, and libraries.
• Control user access, roles, and permissions.
• Perform database backups, migrations, and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide technical support to design teams.
• Integrate SPI with SmartPlant Foundation and other SmartPlant tools.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle/SQL Server databases.
• Familiarity with EPC workflows and Hexagon SmartPlant suite integration.
• Manage electrical design templates, SLD’s, cable schedules, and load lists.
• Customisation of report templates with Macro VB coding, datasheets.
• Control user accounts, roles, and access rights.

Understanding of SPF will be added advantage with following skills. Provide Smart Plant Foundation (SPF) administration and functional support to projects.

Setup, configure & manage SPF including its integration with other Smart Plant Enterprise (SPE) tools viz, SPI, SPPID, SPEL & SP3D CAD for projects, develop project specific SPF execution plan, manage SPF database deliverables and perform database handover and close out, coordinate with corporate IT to address & resolve application issues, provide user training on SPF system.

2D Design Application Administrator

Candidate should be bachelors degree in any Engineering Discipline with 03 to 06 Yrs. Exp.,

He/she is in charge to perform basic configuration, management and development activities on Engineering systems and applications (SPPID, SPI, SPEL and SPF).

Good knowledge & exposure on Smart Plant Enterprise (SPE) tools in particular SPF, good knowledge on the Database Management System, experience in using SPF system on a large-scale project. Programming using ASP .Net technology and SQL, PL/SQL.
