Job summary

Worley is seeking an experienced EDS Coordinator II - SPPID Administrator to join our team in Navi Mumbai to manage SPPID setup, maintenance and reporting for client projects in the oil and gas sector. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure data integrity and progress tracking, supporting project delivery with automation and user support.

The role requires 5+ years in SmartPlant P&ID administration, training users, and applying VBA/SQL skills to automate tasks and extract

The Role

As an EDS Coordinator II - SPPID Administrator with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.

• The SmartPlant P&ID (SPPID) Administrator is responsible for project set up, maintenance and support of the system. The SPPID administrator will maintain the P&ID database for stability and maintenance. The Administrator shall ensure the SPPID environment works efficiently.
• Set up and management of new and existing engineering projects in standalone and workshare mode.
• SPPID Administration, setup, archive, workshare and replication.
• Troubleshooting SPPID software issue and providing user-support to project resources.
• Application database maintenance activities.
• Continually seeking opportunities to increase end-user satisfaction.
• SPPID Customization required for project deliverables.
• SPPID Report customization with VBA code.
• Implement automation tools that will benefit the project deliverables.
• Utilize SPPID reporting to assist monitoring design quality and progress.

Additional Responsibilities

• Prepare Project specific job notes and provide application training for designers and Admin.
• Gain a full understanding of the scope, overall schedule, deliverables, milestones and coordination procedure.
• Coordinated with multidisciplinary team leads to ensure effective project execution.
• Setup and support for SPPID integration with Smart Plant Foundation, Smart Plant 3D, Smart Plant Instrumentation and Smart Plant Electrical.
• Help to create data flow between SPPID and other Smart Plant applications.

About You

• Bachelor’s / Diploma degree in Engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant experience of SmartPlant P&ID Administration.
• Experience in conducting applications training and user support.
• Knowledge of Engineering workflow in an EPC environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective oral and written communication skills required.
• Working experience of Smart Plant Foundation, Smart Instrumentation, Smart Plant Electrical & Aveva PID will be added advantage.
• Knowledge of Power BI & writing SQL Queries to extract data from SPPID.
• Creating automation commands using Visual basic .Net.
• Experience in Oil and Gas/Chemical/Petrochemical.
