Job Description

As a Draughtsperson / Designer (Electrical) you will carry out drafting activities for substation and power distribution projects. The role requires design creativity, detailed layout preparation, and the ability to suggest alternatives or modifications.

Objective / Purpose

Provide accurate electrical drawings, single line diagrams, schematics, layouts, and 2D/3D models that meet quality standards and support project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive inputs from design engineers
• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, SLDs, schematics and layouts
• Create 2D and 3D drawings and documentation conforming to quality systems
• Submit drawings to design engineers for review
• Incorporate corrections and comments from design engineers
• Estimate quantities from drawings
• Work within the allotted man‑hours

Technical Expertise

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, and strong electrical drafting skills.

Operating Network

Internally: Design Engineers and Design Leads. Externally: None.
