Job summary

Daifuku is seeking a Roller Assembler to complete assembly and packaging according to established procedures. You will read drawings, follow supervisor instructions, and perform self-inspections to ensure quality.

The role requires reading a tape measure, knowledge of hand and power tools, and basic computer use. A high school diploma is preferred with at least 1 year of assembly experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read a tape measure precisely.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Roller Assembler completes assembly and packaging processes according to established operating procedures.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to

• Performing assembly based on drawings and supervisor instructions
• Following supervisors’ instructions of work to be performed
• Performing self‑inspection of work to ensure quality and compliance to specifications
• Using computer to record assembly status

Education and Experience Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of machine assembly experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Responsibilities Requirements

• Ability to read and understand complex assembly drawings and blueprints

ADA Requirements

• Medium work Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move object.
• Stooping Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires full use of the lower extremities and back muscles.
• Kneeling Bending legs at knee to come to a rest on knee or knees.
• Crouching Bending the body downward and forward by bending leg and spine.
