Job summary

Occupli Recruitment is recruiting an EH&S Advisor for a manufacturing client based in Cork, Ireland. The role is a 12-month contract requiring hands-on day-to-day health, safety and environmental support on site, with on-site duties including regular inspections and meetings.

You will chair site safety meetings, conduct inspections and audits, deliver inductions and toolbox talks, and advise project managers on corrective actions to reduce risks.

Qualifications

• BSc in Health and Safety or SHWW diploma.
• 1-3 years experience essential.
• Experience in manufacturing environments preferred.

12 month contract

Ability to advise on Health, Safety and Environmental issues on a day to day basis on site, attend site meetings, chair site safety meetings.
Ability to carry out and write site inspection reports and site audit reports, deliver site inductions and toolbox talks.
Ability to recommend to Project/Site Managers appropriate corrective actions to address risks highlighted in inspection and audit reports.
Ability to write, review and assess risk assessments, method statements and advise on how risks could be reduced further.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Word, Publisher, Excel and PowerPoint.
