Job summary

Graffiti Theatre is seeking a dynamic project lead to run the Activate Youth Theatre and Creative Learning Programmes during the maternity leave of the current director. The role combines Creative Learning and Activate Youth Theatre management, overseeing staff, coordinating workshops, and developing resources for schools and communities.

You will work with our Bookings Officer and Marketing lead to promote bookings, nurture relationships with schools, and ensure smooth invoicing and payments.

Qualifications

• At least three years’ experience creating, planning, developing and delivering theatre projects for young people.
• Drama facilitation experience.
• Experience delivering workshops in schools/colleges.
• Strong time management and adaptability.
• Understanding of contemporary theatre and drama practice.
• Initiative, energy and creativity.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to liaise with external organisations.
• Administrative skills, including report writing and project planning.
• Excellent team worker and collaborative mindset.
• Knowledge of safeguarding issues.
• Grant writing experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver the operational development of the Creative Learning programme as set out by the existing Director.
• Work with the Bookings Officer and Marketing lead to promote and secure bookings for Creative Learning workshops to our schools network.
• Manage current team of freelance facilitators to book and deliver workshops.
• Create resources for the Creative Learning programme (resource packs for schools, supporting materials for workshops).
• Nurture relationships with our schools network.
• Work with a wide age range of participants in formal and informal settings.
• Support timely invoicing and payments for workshops.
• Facilitate theatre workshops within the programme.
• Assist in funding applications supporting Creative Learning’s programme.
