Job summary

Waterford and Wexford Education and Training Board (WWETB) invites applications for the position of Apprenticeship Instructor in Wood Manufacturing and Finishing at Waterford Training Centre. This is a permanent contract aimed at delivering and facilitating the Phase 2 Standards-Based Apprenticeship programme to national standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and facilitate all aspects of the Phase 2 Standards-Based Wood Manufacturing and Finishing Apprenticeship programme to prescribed national standards.
• Support learners in developing the knowledge, skills and competencies required to progress in their apprenticeship and future careers.
• Prepare learners for a trade test, theory test and competency-based interview as part of the selection process.
