Job summary

Leinster Rugby is seeking a Provincial Pathway Coach (Women’s Pathway) to deliver integrated women’s provincial player identification and development programmes across Leinster for players aged 18-23. This is a full-time, two-year fixed-term contract with a focus on high standards and alignment with national and provincial objectives.

The role requires at least two years’ performance coaching experience, IRFU Stage 3 or equivalent, and strong organisational and IT skills.

Qualifications

  • Two years’ experience coaching at performance level with a focus on individual player development.
  • Senior Coach Award (Stage3) IRFU qualification or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of women’s rugby in Leinster/Ireland and development environments.
  • Excellent organisation, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate delivery of women's provincial player ID and development programmes in Leinster.
  • Integrate system development and move players through pathways from Tier 1 to senior level.
  • Profile and manage development plans for identified players (18-23).
  • Deliver physical, mental, technical, tactical, and lifestyle skills within a cohesive programme.
  • Maintain up-to-date database of pathway players and potential talents.
  • Contribute to regional pathway programmes and club/university coaching initiatives.
