Job summary

Demonware in Dublin is seeking an 8‑month Winter Co‑op in Software Development. You’ll contribute to multiplayer features, backend systems, and tooling for large‑scale services, with hands‑on work in Kubernetes, automation, and data pipelines.

You’ll collaborate on design discussions, perform root cause analysis, and help improve reliability and developer experience. Strong Python, C++, or Java skills, Linux, and knowledge of networking are expected.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary or graduate program.
• Expected graduation between January 2027 and May 2028.
• Available for an 8-month, in-person co-op starting January 2027.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Resume and transcript required.
• Automated coding assessment as part of the interview.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to multiplayer features and backend systems.
• Develop tools for large-scale distributed services.
• Gain hands-on experience with Kubernetes infrastructure, automation frameworks, and scalable data pipelines.
