Demonware in Dublin is offering an onsite Software Engineering co-op for 8 months starting January 2027. You will work on backend systems, multiplayer features, and distributed services with hands-on experience in Kubernetes and tooling.

The program emphasizes collaboration, debugging, and real-world code contributions. Strong knowledge of Python/C++/Java and Linux; familiarity with Git and RESTful concepts will help you succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Python, C++, and/or Java.
• Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Familiarity with Linux and source control (Git preferred).
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP, UDP, HTTP).

Responsibilities

• Contribute to multiplayer features and backend systems.
• Develop tooling and automation for scalable data pipelines.
