Job summary

Activision Blizzard’s Demonware in Dublin seeks an 8‑month Winter Co‑op in Software Development. You’ll contribute to core backend services and multiplayer features, with exposure to Kubernetes, Linux, and modern tooling.

The program targets students enrolled in post‑secondary programs, graduating between Jan 2027 and May 2028, and requires strong Python/C++/Java, solid CS fundamentals, and the ability to work onsite in Dublin.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Python, C++, and/or Java.
• Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Familiarity with Linux and source control (Git preferred).
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP, UDP, HTTP).

Responsibilities

• Work across Demonware teams on multiplayer features, backend systems, and tooling.
• Gain hands-on experience with Kubernetes infrastructure and automation frameworks.
• Collaborate in design discussions, perform root cause analysis, and automate workflows.
• Contribute to reliability, performance, and developer experience improvements.
