Job summary

Vertiv Ireland is seeking a Welder or Fabricator to join our growing production team. You will fabricate metal components using MIG and basic TIG welding, reading engineering drawings, and preparing materials with hand tools.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year’s experience in welding or fabrication.
  • Ability to read drawings and work instructions.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a busy manufacturing environment.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.
  • Basic proficiency with hand tools and grinders.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate metal components as part of a skilled production team.
  • Perform MIG welding and basic TIG welding tasks.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and instructions.
  • Prepare materials and finish components using hand tools and grinders.
  • Check own work to maintain high quality standards.
  • Work in a clean, safe and organised environment.

Key responsibilities:


  • Working as part of a skilled production team fabricating metal components.

  • Carrying out MIG welding and basic TIG welding tasks.

  • Reading and working from engineering drawings and instructions.

  • Preparing materials and finishing components using hand tools and grinders.

  • Checking your own work and maintaining high quality standards.

  • Working in a clean, safe, and organised environment.

Essential Skills, Qualifications/Experience:


  • At least 1 years’ experience in welding or fabrication.

  • Experience with MIG and/or TIG welding.

  • Good teamwork and communication skills.


Desirable Skills, Qualifications/Experience:


  • Welding certification or formal training
