Job summary

• 3 years previous experience in the manufacture of Mild Steel or Stainless-Steel fabrications required.
• High standard of welding experience to a suitable standard in MIG welding.

Job description

At Turmec, we are currently growing our team and are looking for dedicated, skilled Metal Fabricators/Welders to join our expanding team to assist in delivering small and large-scale projects in Ireland, the UK and the wider international market. This position operates on a rotating shift pattern covering morning and evening shifts.Successful applicants will enjoy being part of a closely-knit manufacturing team, who pride themselves on delivering the highest quality products to our worldwide customers.

The Welder/Fabricator duties will include:

• · Fabrication and assembly of metal structures, frames, and components
• · Mild & Stainless Steel Fabrication
• · 3 years previous experience in the manufacture of Mild Steel or Stainless-Steel fabrications required
• · High standard of welding experience to a suitable standard in MIG welding
• · Safe-Pass and Manual Handling desirable, Abrasive Wheel training not essential but preferable
• · Candidates must work to CE EN1090 criteria
• · A good understanding of spoken and written English is essential
• · The ideal candidate must be self-efficient and be able to work unsupervised, on their own initiative, but also be a team player.
• · Good attendance and time keeping
• · Upon employment candidates must undergo and pass weld tests
