Job summary

Caragh Precision in Galway is seeking a Weekend Quality Control Technician to support our medical device manufacturing operations. You will perform inspections and quality checks on components and assemblies to ensure they meet defined specifications and regulatory requirements.

Reporting to the Cell Lead/Weekend Production Supervisor, you will work in a cleanroom environment, maintain inspection records, and collaborate with production to achieve daily and weekly targets while upholding health

Qualifications

• Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Science, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Equivalent manufacturing or medical device industry experience will be considered.
• Experience in cleanroom environments.
• Familiarity with quality inspection processes and documentation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections of medical device components and assemblies.
• Dimensional analysis using measuring equipment (pin gauges, shadow graphs, microscopes, automated cameras and CMMs).
• Verify products meet quality standards and customer requirements.
• Identify, segregate, and report non-conforming products.
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail during inspection activities.
• Complete inspection records accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support achievement of daily and weekly production and quality targets.
• Adhere to Health & Safety, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
