Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Production Operator to join their Galway manufacturing site. You will be involved in assembling medical devices in a state-of-the-art facility, with attention to quality and efficiency on a rotating shift pattern.

The role offers weekend shift opportunities (with cross-training across day, evening or night), and provides a pathway to permanency for the right candidate through a well regarded employer in the medical devices sector.

Qualifications

• Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• High level of dexterity and attention to detail is essential.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assembles medical products on an assembly operation, performing a variety of tasks on a rotating basis. Maximise output by operating efficiently and minimising waste. Ensure product assembled meets quality standards.
• Willing to be flexible and open to learning, and training in new processes. Depending on experience, assist in training new Production Operator.
