Kinisla Group is seeking a Laboratory Technician (Weekend Cover) for our Charleville site. This part-time role covers Plant 1 & Plant 2 labs at weekends and bank holidays, with hours 06:00 - 15:00. You will support QA by performing in-process testing and maintaining traceable records within a GMP environment.

You will work with the QA team to ensure product quality and compliance, reporting to the Quality Manager. Evening and holiday coverage may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage workload and meet testing schedules.
• Capable of independent work with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Problem-solving mindset for QA and data integrity.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel for data entry and analysis.
• Comfortable using computers and laboratory software.
• Must be available for weekend shifts and occasional Mon-Fri cover.

Responsabilités

• Perform in-process chemical testing of samples per documented procedures.
• Maintain accurate testing records for traceability.
• Adhere to GMP, hygiene, health and safety policies.
• Conduct chemical analyses (pH, fats, salt, moisture).
• Collect and analyze raw materials; manage samples.
• Prepare and execute environmental swabbing in production areas.
• Record temperature checks and manage shelf-life samples.
• Coordinate sending samples to external labs for specific testing.
• Enter results into SAP and support ad-hoc duties as needed.
