Job summary

Sanmina Fermoy seeks a Lab Quality Technician (12 month FTC) to perform final product release testing in a regulated laboratory environment. You will maintain documentation discipline and support the laboratory team in testing schedules, ensuring compliance with cGMP, GDP and quality standards.

You will work with MES and Oracle Agile systems, handle SQD/Ops tasks, and contribute to audits while ensuring product testing aligns with customer specifications and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• NFQ Level 6 or higher in science, preferably with laboratory knowledge.
• Sound understanding of problem solving techniques.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good communications and influencing skills.
• Ability to write SOPs and training documents.
• Experience in a laboratory with analytical/testing instruments is preferred.
• Experience in a regulated environment with strict documentation discipline.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing using analytical instruments to support laboratory science requirements.
• Operate laboratory computer applications and equipment with basic proficiency.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail for accuracy and documentation.
• Accountable for personal actions and verification of colleagues' work.
• Identify risks and solve problems following established guidance.
• Support cross-functional groups and train fellow technicians as required.
• Manage individual schedules to ensure timely completion of testing.
• Support quality process definition, setup, verification and improvements.
• Complete testing to ensure product meets customer specifications.
• Conduct internal process audits to ensure conformance of the Quality System.
• Assist audits by demonstrating product testing requirements and best practices.
• Escalate quality issues and conduct non-conformance investigations when required.
• Review and approve DHR content for relevant documentation.
