Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Wearables Marketing Expert based in Ireland.

Are you passionate about wearable technology, digital health, and the future of personalised wellness? This is an exciting opportunity to lead the go-to-market strategy for an innovative AI-powered wellness product expanding into the wearables ecosystem. You will take ownership of the entire marketing journey, from market positioning and product launches to customer acquisition, strategic partnerships, and growth optimisation. Combining strategic thinking with hands‑on execution, you will transform wearable health data into compelling customer value propositions and engaging marketing campaigns. Working directly with executive leadership, product teams, and marketing specialists, you will help shape a new business direction and establish a strong market presence. This role is ideal for a data‑driven marketing professional who understands consumer technology, connected devices, and subscription‑based business models.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for the wearables initiative, defining target audiences, product positioning, messaging, pricing recommendations, and launch plans.
  • Translate wearable health metrics, including sleep, heart rate variability (HRV), recovery, and physical activity, into clear customer benefits and compelling marketing messages.
  • Plan, launch, and optimise customer acquisition campaigns targeting wearable owners through paid social channels such as Meta and TikTok, YouTube, influencer partnerships, podcasts, and relevant online communities.
  • Build and manage strategic partnerships and co-marketing initiatives with wearable manufacturers, technology brands, and digital platforms, including integration listings, joint campaigns, product bundles, and affiliate agreements.
  • Lead the end-to-end marketing launch of wearable products, covering pre-orders, waitlists, direct-to-consumer (D2C) channels, marketplaces such as Shopify and Amazon, and device-plus-subscription bundles.
  • Optimise the customer journey from device acquisition to subscription activation, working closely with product teams to improve onboarding, device connection rates, and retention.
  • Conduct ongoing market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, market opportunities, and developments across the wearables ecosystem.
  • Define, monitor, and analyse key performance indicators, including customer acquisition cost (CAC), device connection rates, subscription conversion, customer retention, partner‑driven installations, and revenue.
  • Provide regular performance updates to executive leadership, translating data into actionable insights and continuously adjusting marketing strategies to maximise growth.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience in consumer technology marketing, growth marketing, or product marketing.
  • At least 1 year of professional experience working with wearable devices, connected technologies, or health‑tech applications.
  • Proven experience managing the end-to-end launch of a consumer hardware or wearable product, including strategic planning, pre-orders, marketing assets, distribution channels, and performance evaluation.
  • Strong understanding of the wearables ecosystem and health-related metrics, such as sleep patterns, heart rate variability (HRV), recovery, physical activity, and glucose monitoring.
  • Hands‑on expertise in performance marketing across platforms such as Meta, TikTok, Google, and YouTube, with a solid understanding of CAC, lifetime value (LTV), return on advertising spend (ROAS), and subscription conversion funnels.
  • Previous experience developing strategic partnerships or managing business development initiatives with technology brands, manufacturers, or digital platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills and a data‑driven mindset, with the ability to make informed decisions based on performance metrics and measurable results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with professional fluency in English (C1 level or above).
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, take ownership of projects, and deliver results in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Experience working for a wearable technology or health‑tracking company, or with applications integrated into wearable devices, is a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with hardware‑plus‑subscription business models, including bundled devices and membership offerings, is desirable.
  • Experience with D2C marketing, Amazon marketplaces, A/B testing, landing page optimisation, and customer acquisition strategies is an additional advantage.
  • An established network within the biohacking, longevity, or quantified‑self communities, including creators, podcast hosts, and industry experts, would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of habit‑formation psychology and its application to customer engagement and retention is considered a plus.
Benefits:
