Job summary

Glanua is seeking a Site Mechanical Fitter to join our engineering team delivering water and wastewater MEICA projects in Ireland. You will support project managers in daily operations and participate in mechanical installations, commissioning, and on-site problem solving.

You will gain broad, multi-disciplinary experience across MEICA and civil works while advancing your career through continual training and internal promotions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in water/wastewater.
• Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter/Fabricator or equivalent.
• Experience in mechanical installation of equipment, systems and pipework including stainless steel, PVC, PE and ductile iron.
• Good knowledge of mechanical systems and repair/maintenance workflows.
• Able to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
• Hold a full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a project team to deliver on multiple projects.
• Adhere to Health, Safety and Environmental standards and procedures.
• Review mechanical drawings and P&ID to validate designs and identify issues.
• Site install of mechanical systems, pipework and equipment.
• Maintain and repair water/wastewater equipment and perform periodic inspections.
