You will manage multidisciplinary design teams, liaise with clients and authorities, and provide technical leadership from concept design through construction handover, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality and delivering projects on time.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• 8+ years’ experience in water infrastructure design and project management.
• Experience delivering projects to Irish Water standards.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D or equivalent.

Aufgaben

• Manage the design process for water infrastructure projects, including pipelines, pumping stations, reservoirs, and treatment facilities.
• Coordinate internal and external design teams, ensuring compliance with project specifications, Irish Water standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and review technical designs, drawings, and documentation, ensuring accuracy and constructability.
• Liaise with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors to integrate design and construction activities.
• Conduct design risk assessments, ensuring all health, safety, and environmental considerations are met.
• Manage project design schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure on-time project delivery.
• Support tendering and bid processes by preparing technical documentation and design inputs.
• Maintain strong stakeholder relationships with clients, local authorities, and regulatory bodies.
