Job summary

Veolia Ireland is seeking a Plant Manager to lead WasteWater treatment plants and pumping stations in Wicklow. You will oversee day-to-day site operations, coordinate a team of technicians, and ensure reliable plant performance.

The role emphasizes safety, quality and continuous improvement, with a focus on CMMS-driven maintenance plans, on-time reporting and close collaboration with the client and QHSE teams. A suitable engineering background or trades experience is required.

Qualifications

• Senior mechanical or electrical tradesperson with people management experience.
• Engineering background with operations and maintenance experience.
• Operational experience on a water/wastewater site.
• Experience managing water/wastewater site operations.
• Good communication and people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day management of on-site technicians.
• Lead maintenance including PMs, predictive and corrective tasks.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Attend client liaison meetings and report monthly site performance.
