Job summary

EOS IT Solutions is seeking a Warehouse/Asset Technician in Ireland to manage inbound/outbound hardware operations, including returns, inventory processing, and high-value asset handling. You will ensure accurate picking, packing, labeling, and secure shipments while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet order fulfillment deadlines.

The role requires forklift certification and experience with IT asset management, Jira, and Excel.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in a warehouse environment with ITAM experience.
  • Familiarity with Jira and Excel or similar tools.
  • Forklift qualifications/certification.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately pick, pack, label, and ship high-value IT assets with secure, timely deliveries.
  • Process hardware and accessory requests via the client’s ticketing system.
  • Process returned hardware from active and off-boarded staff; categorize assets for reuse or holds.
  • Update inventory system to track movements of deployed and returned hardware.
  • Receive, inspect and record new hardware into the inventory system.
  • Conduct monthly inventory counts and ensure proper storage locations.
  • Address client escalations and resolve issues promptly.
  • Develop, update, and maintain SOPs for operational processes.
  • Lead cycle time studies with 5S and Value Stream Mapping projects.
  • Support ad hoc management projects as needed.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As a Warehouse/Asset Technician, you will play a critical role in managing inbound and outbound hardware operations, including processing returns and new inventory, as well as fulfilling hardware requests. You will ensure accurate picking, packing, and labelling of high-value IT assets, maintaining exceptional attention to detail. In this role, you will collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfilment.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
  • Accurately pick, pack, label, and ship high-value IT assets, ensuring secure and timely deliveries.
  • Systematically process hardware and accessory requests through the client's ticketing system.
  • Process returned hardware from active and off-boarded employees, categorizing assets into One Week Hold or Indefinite Legal Hold and grading assets for re-use.
  • Conduct systematic updates in the inventory system to track movements for hardware being deployed and returned.
  • Receive, inspect, and process new hardware inventory into the inventory system.
  • Conduct monthly inventory counts, ensuring all items are logged into the system and stored in designated areas.
  • Address client escalations and resolve issues promptly.
  • Develop, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for operational processes.
  • Conduct periodic cycle time studies in conjunction with leading process improvement projects centered around 5S and Value Stream Mapping (VSM).
  • Support ad hoc projects assigned by management based on client needs.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
  • 2+ years in a warehouse environment with ITAM experience
  • Previous experience with Jira and Excel (or similar programs)
  • Forklift Qualifications/Certification
DESIRABLE CRITERIA
  • COMPTIA certification
  • Experience working with various curriers
