Job summary

HID Global in Shannon, Ireland is seeking a Warehouse Operator II to support day-to-day receiving, picking, packing and shipping of stock. You will maintain inventory, verify deliveries, load/unload trucks, and help drive KPI performance across safety, quality and delivery.

The role requires at least two years of manufacturing experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and strong English communication skills. Overtime and varied shifts may be required.

  • Must have a high school diploma, or equivalent.
  • Must possess the ability to work at a fast pace with very high attention to detail.
  • Must have flexibility to work overtime as required (including weekends) and periodically work a different shift.
  • Requires the ability to learn, use and maintain specialized equipment.
  • Accepts and embraces constant change as a necessary factor to success.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

  • Follow SOPs and work instructions related to job function.
  • Be accountable to performance standards to support area KPIs (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost).
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with peers and internal customers.
  • Log and escalate potential issues to minimize safety, quality, delivery issues and inefficiencies.
  • Participate in root cause, corrective/preventive action activities as required.
  • Maintain inventory by labeling and locating stock; record inventory locations.
  • Locate materials by pulling and verifying items listed on production orders.
  • Load and unload delivery trucks; ensure deliveries match purchase orders.
  • Assist in reviewing pick sheets and pull the right products for each order.
  • Move freight and stock via forklifts or manually between docks, vehicles, storage, and production areas.
