Brennan & Co Group in Dublin is seeking a Warehouse Operative to help receive, store and dispatch stock for our customers.

You will work with the operations team to ensure accuracy, rotate stock, perform daily checks and assist drivers. The role requires numeracy, reliability and good communication, with opportunities to progress within a long-established business.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience.
• Good numeric ability and attention to detail.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels in and outside the company.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients.
• Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage workloads.
• Excellent customer relationship skills with ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Forklift license desirable.
• Basic IT skills in Excel/Word/Outlook desirable.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect deliveries and ensure safe unloading procedures.
• Store, stack and rotate incoming materials according to storage requirements.
• Receive and receipted returned stock according to procedures.
• Pick, count, assemble and pack orders with paperwork checks.
• Check lot numbers and expiry dates and ensure proper rotation.
• Compile monthly expiring/expired stock checklists.
• Perform stock taking and stock control.
• Complete daily/weekly temperature checks per procedures.
• Monitor and log return of grey crates.
• Maintain safe, tidy, and clean work area for warehouse personnel and visitors.
• Operate forklift per procedures and assist drivers with loading vans.
• Provide day-to-day support to Operations Manager and act as relief driver when required.
• Handle ad-hoc duties and projects as needed.
