Job summary

Pat McDonnell Paints in Limerick is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our busy store/warehouse, ensuring efficient stock handling and a reliable delivery service for our customers.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you will manage goods in, pick and pack orders, move stock with manual handling or reach truck, keep paperwork up to date, load and unload vehicles and contribute to stock counts, while delivering outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of warehouse experience, essential.
• Forklift certification.
• Full clean Irish or European driving licence.
• Ability to work as part of a team and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• EU citizenship or right to work in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Goods In procedures – receiving stock from suppliers and packing out.
• Picking and packing orders.
• Moving stock around the warehouse by hand or using Reach Truck.
• Keeping paperwork up-to-date.
• Loading and unloading vehicles.
• Stock accuracy – cycle counts – inventory control.
• Delivering goods to customers and providing outstanding customer service.
• Ad hoc duties as required.

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join the team at our Limerick Store.

We are currently recruiting a Warehouse Operative to join the team.

Reporting to the Store Manager, our new Warehouse Operative will be responsible for a busy store/warehouse and will also be responsible for providing an excellent delivery service for the store. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a busy store/warehouse.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate proven experience and skills in the following areas:

• Goods In procedures – receiving stock from suppliers and packing out
• Picking and Packing orders
• Moving stock around the warehouse by hand or using Reach Truck
• Keeping paperwork up-to-date
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Stock Accuracy – stocktake support – carrying out cycle counts – inventory control
• Capable of working as part of a team and working under pressure and on a tight schedule.
• Making deliveries and offering outstanding customer service to all our customers
• Adhoc duties as and when required

Required Skills/Experience:

• 2-3 years of warehouse experience essential, preferably in a wholesale, retail environment
• Fork Truck Certified
• Hold a full clean Irish or European driving licence
• Capable of working as part of a team and ability to work under pressure and on a tight schedule.
• Proven ability to manage a variety of tasks within a fast-moving working environment that is customer-focused
• Applicants should hold EU citizenship or be able to work full-time and have fluent English.
