Job summary

Barry Group in Mallow, Co. Cork, is seeking a General Operative to join our Warehouse Team on a full-time basis. The role involves handling stock, order picking, wrapping, loading for delivery, and maintaining HACCP and health and safety standards.

You will operate a scanner and motorised pallet truck, work to meet order requirements, ensure pallets are stable, and contribute to efficient stock management across the supply chain. A hands-on, quality-focused attitude and flexibility are essential.

Qualifications

• Functional, hands-on experience in Warehouse Operations.
• An understanding of Supply Chain functions.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• A strong focus on quality customer service.
• Be capable of working well on one’s own as well as part of the warehouse team.

Responsibilities

• Operate a scanner and a motorised truck.
• Ensure that product is picked to meet order requirements and rotated by batch numbers/dates.
• Ensure picked pallets are stable for safe loading.
• Assist in the overall operation of the warehouse.
• Adhere to health & safety policies and HACCP requirements.
• Carry out ad-hoc duties as necessary.
