Job summary

Supply Technologies in the United Kingdom is seeking a Warehouse Operative and Driver to join our logistics team. You will handle goods in and out, pick and pack orders, maintain inventory, operate forklift equipment, and deliver to customer production sites.

You will also service Kanban stations to keep the supply chain running smoothly, ensuring accurate deliveries and high standards in warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• Efficient with Excel and other Microsoft programs.
• Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.
• Knowledge of fasteners and fixing advantageous, but not essential.
• A current UK driving license, no more than 6 penalty points.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Good Communication Skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship).
• Prepare and complete orders for receiving according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, store).
• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits.
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
• Report any discrepancies.
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
• Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment.
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Ensure the company uniform is worn at all times and is in a clean condition.
• Be available for and competent at general warehouse duties as and when require.
• Assist in the training of new warehouse staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
• Delivers products to our customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner.
• Establishes and maintains outstanding relations with customers.
• Reviews and verifies delivery notes to ensure accuracy.
• Any other duties as defined by management.
