The Role

We are seeking a reliable, safety-conscious Warehouse Operative & Delivery Driver (Dual Role) to join our Stores & Logistics team based in Mallow.
This hands-on position combines warehouse operations with delivery driving across Munster. When not on the road, you will transition back into the warehouse to support daily operations. Flexibility is required regarding early starts (Monday – Friday).

Key Responsibilities

• Driving & Delivery: Safely transport, load, and unload goods to sites, customers, and depots across Munster. Verify delivery paperwork, plan efficient routes, and perform basic daily/weekly vehicle care and defect reporting.
• Warehouse Operations: Receive, check, store, pick, pack, and dispatch goods accurately. Maintain stock control, assist with cycle counts, and keep storage/yard areas safe, clean, and organised.
• Dual-Role Flexibility: Transition smoothly back into general warehousing duties upon return from delivery routes.
  

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of warehouse and/or delivery driving experience.
• Licensing: Full, clean Category B driving licence (essential); Categories C, C1, or C1E are a distinct advantage.
• Certifications: Valid Forklift Licence (Counterbalance/Reach) is essential. Safe Pass, Manual Handling, and Working at Heights certificates are highly desirable.
• Skills: Excellent physical fitness to handle heavy goods, strong communication skills (fluent written and spoken English), and a track record of reliability and punctuality.
