Job summary

Vital Healthcare is seeking a warehouse operative in Ireland to ensure accurate stock levels and to pick and pack orders for next-day delivery. The role includes cycle counting of stock and maintaining a clean, safe warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include operating warehouse machinery, goods in/out processing, and coordinating with internal and external customers. Flexibility for occasional extra hours and travel to other sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in a similar role, ideally in a service environment.
• Experience in a busy warehouse environment, i.e. goods in, pick, pack and dispatch & stock control.
• Observant, good numerical skills and attention to detail.
• A forklift licence for reach truck is essential.
• Full clean driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of Warehouse machinery to pick orders for dispatch.
• Check, pick, pack and dispatch goods per procedures.
• Receive, check, sort and put away goods.
• Maintain housekeeping for safe stock storage.
• Consolidate storage bins, conduct stock takes and cycle counts.
• Communicate with internal and external customers to resolve issues.
• Complete documentation accurately and follow SOPs and EHS requirements.
• Participate in cross-functional teams as required.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

The principal duties and responsibilities of this warehouse operative role is to ensure accurate stock levels in the warehouse, picking and packing the orders for delivery the following day and to conduct cycle counts of the stock as required.

The Principal Duties And Responsibilities For This Position Include

• Operating a variety of Warehouse machinery to pick orders ready for dispatch
• Accurate Order checking, picking, packing and dispatch of goods as per procedure and instructions
• Goods Inwards, checking, sorting and put-away of products received
• General housekeeping to ensure that stock is stored in a safe and clean environment
• Storage bin consolidation, stock taking and regular cycle countingCommunicate effectively with internal and external customers, assisting with issues and queries
• Complete all documentation accurately and ensure tasks are in compliance with appropriate procedures, SOPs and company and EHS regulatory requirements.
• Participate in Cross-Functional teams, as necessary.

Experience & Profile

The successful candidate will ideally have:

Other Information

• During periods of high volumes you may be required to provide support to other areas of the business.
• Occasional requirements to work beyond normal working hours and to travel to other Fannin sites will be expected.
