Job summary

Choice Stores in Clonee is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative to join our growing team. You will pick, pack, and process customer orders, load and unload vehicles, and maintain accurate stock levels in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Ideal candidates have warehouse experience, strong organizational skills, and a positive work ethic. Forklift certification is a plus, but training will be provided. Competitive pay and opportunities for growth are offered.

Warehouse Operative - Clonee

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick, pack, and process customer orders in a timely manner
• Load and unload delivery vehicles, adhering to safe lifting techniques and guidelines
• Maintain stock inventory, ensuring accuracy and organization
• Ability to build solid safe pallets
• Ensure all deliveries are checked in and out accurately from the warehouse
• Ensure that Goods Receiving and Dispatching procedures are followed at all times
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner
• Participate in routine stock checks and report discrepancies
• Work closely with team members to achieve warehouse targets and goals
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role is preferred
• Forklift certification is an advantage, but not essential as training will be provided
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy items safely
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Hourly Rate (Age 20+): €14.15-€14.90 per hour

• Age 19: 90% of the applicable adult rate
• Age 18: 80% of the applicable adult rate
