Choice Stores in Ashbourne is seeking Warehouse Operatives to join its dynamic team. You will pick, pack and process orders, load/unload vehicles, and maintain accurate stock levels while adhering to safety standards.

Ideal candidates have warehouse experience and can work in a fast-paced environment. Forklift training is provided if needed, with emphasis on accuracy and teamwork. Competitive pay and flexible hours are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse or similar role preferred.
• Forklift certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick, pack, and process customer orders in a timely manner.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles, adhering to safe lifting techniques and guidelines.
• Maintain stock inventory, ensuring accuracy and organization.
• Ability to build solid safe pallets.
• Ensure all deliveries are checked in and out accurately from the warehouse.
• Ensure that Goods Receiving and Dispatching procedures are followed at all times.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner.
• Participate in routine stock checks and report discrepancies.
• Work closely with team members to achieve warehouse targets and goals.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.

Hourly Rate (Age 20+): €14.15-€14.90 per hour

• Age 19: 90% of the applicable adult rate
• Age 18: 80% of the applicable adult rate
• Under 18: 70% of the applicable adult rate
