ROLE & RESPONSIBILTIES

• Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring operations areContinue safe, efficient, and on schedule
• Lead, motivate, and manage a team of approximately 15 warehouse employees
• Organise daily workloads and ensure staff understand their roles, responsibilities, and priorities
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised warehouse, ensuring compliance with company policies and Health & Safety requirements
• Oversee the full movement of goods, including goods-in, storage, stock control, order fulfilment, and dispatch
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure stock is available to meet production and customer requirements
• Work closely with Sales, Purchasing, Finance, and other internal departments to ensure smooth warehouse operations
• Monitor warehouse performance, including productivity, accuracy, stock levels, and order fulfilment
• Set clear performance targets and KPIs for the warehouse team and provide regular feedback
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, reduce errors and product damage, and increase productivity
• Ensure customer orders and business requirements are fulfilled accurately and within agreed deadlines

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• 3-5 years' experience in a warehouse management or supervisory role
• Proven experience managing a team
• Strong IT skills; Sage 200 experience is an advantage but not essential
• Full, clean driving licence
