RecruitmentPlus on behalf of our client in Cork is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead a busy site. You will oversee production and warehouse operations, ensuring safety, compliance and on-time delivery.

We are looking for 2+ years of supervisory experience, strong leadership, and a continuous improvement mindset. Monday–Friday day hours, with a focus on ISO standards and efficient workflows.

Qualifications

• Proven knowledge of health, safety and operational compliance.
• 2 years+ supervisory experience in manufacturing/warehouse/distribution.
• Excellent attention to detail, planning and prioritising skills.
• RCCA and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities; people management.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of day-to-day site operations across production and warehouse. Place customer needs at the centre of operations.
• Lead all aspects of Health & Safety on site.
• Ensure compliance with legal, environmental and company standards, audits and risk assessments.
• Promote a proactive safety culture and drive continuous improvement in efficiency.
• Oversee goods in, storage, inventory accuracy and dispatch; ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Team leadership to coach, develop and address performance issues.

RecruitmentPlus on behalf of our client, a leading supplier in sustainable construction materials, have an opportunity for a Warehouse Manager to lead a busy site in Cork. Previous experience with construction/building/yard materials or operations management desirable. This role will lead the warehouse and distribution site, with a key focus on H&S and compliance while meeting performance and delivery requirements.

Monday to Friday day working hours.

Requirements:

• Proven knowledge of health, safety and operational compliance
• 2 years + supervisory experience in manufacturing / warehouse / distribution / production etc environment
• Excellent attention to detail, organisational, planning, and prioritising skills
• RCCA and a Continuous Improvement mindset
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong leadership and people management capability
• Ability to manage workflows and resources to meet operational targets and Company Competency Matrix requirements
• Strong focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction
• Forklift licence, experience working to ISO standards and in warehouse or yard management systems is desirable

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with legal, environmental and company standards. Maintain audits, risk assessments and safe systems of work.
• Promote a proactive safety culture - not just box-ticking.
• Ensure output meets quality, cost and delivery targets.
• Drive continuous improvement in efficiency, waste reduction and performance.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Align production planning with sales demand and forecasts. Remove bottlenecks that impact lead times or service levels.
• Oversee goods in, storage, inventory accuracy and dispatch.
• Deliver consistent product quality and presentation.
• Team leadership to lead, coach, develop, set clear expectations and address any performance issues.
• Ensure all documentation, administration is complete, policies and procedures followed and site is fully compliant at all times.
• Other duties as may be required.
