Job summary

Osborne is recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead day-to-day operations in a regulated pharmaceutical distribution environment in Dublin. You will manage a small team and ensure products are received, stored, picked, packed and dispatched in full compliance with GDP and quality procedures.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will drive safety, accuracy and continuous improvement, coordinate with Quality, Supply Chain and Customer Service, and support audits and regulatory

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Warehouse Management or warehouse operations role.
• Experience in regulated environments (pharma/healthcare) desirable.
• Strong GDP, quality and compliance knowledge.
• Experience with warehouse management or ERP systems.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Hands-on, proactive management style.

Responsibilities

Job description

Our client is an established international healthcare and pharmaceutical services organisation with operations across multiple markets. Their Irish operation provides specialist pharmaceutical distribution, logistics and supply chain services to customers across the healthcare and life sciences sector.

We are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead the day-to-day warehouse operation and ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, compliance, service and operational efficiency.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional to join a highly regulated environment where attention to detail and a commitment to quality are essential.

Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor / manager is required along with demonstrable knowledge within logistics.

Location: Dublin 24

Hours: Monday to Friday 9-5pm

Day to day you will report to the MD and take responsibility for the overall performance of the warehouse operation, leading a team and ensuring products are received, stored, picked, packed and dispatched efficiently and in accordance with all relevant pharmaceutical and regulatory requirements. You will be working in a small team so you will need to be hands -on in all aspects of the role.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring an efficient, safe and compliant working environment.
• Ensure all warehouse activities are carried out in accordance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and company quality procedures.
• Maintain high standards of inventory accuracy, stock control and product traceability.
• Oversee goods-in, storage, order picking, packing and dispatch activities.
• Ensure appropriate handling and storage of pharmaceutical and healthcare products, including temperature-sensitive products where required.
• Work closely with Quality, Supply Chain, Customer Service and other internal teams to resolve operational issues.
• Ensure all warehouse documentation, records and systems are maintained accurately and in line with regulatory requirements.
• Support audits, inspections and quality investigations as required.
• Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety, quality and company policies.
• Manage relationships with relevant logistics and service providers where required.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience in a Warehouse Management or Warehouse and logistics Operations Management role.
• Experience working within a pharmaceutical, healthcare, medical device, life sciences, FMCG or similarly regulated environment is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of GDP, quality and compliance requirements.
• Experience working with warehouse management systems and/or ERP systems.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• A hands-on and proactive approach to warehouse management.
