Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding in Dublin is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead a on-site team, ensure efficient warehouse operations, and maintain strict health and safety standards. You will oversee inbound/outbound activities, drive continuous improvement, and ensure excellent customer service at a high-value site.

The role requires strong leadership and communication skills, with a track record in performance management, and a clear focus on process standardisation and compliance with GDP for life

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of people management/leadership experience including proven track record in performance management, annual leave management, absence processes, and developing and motivating team members.
• Continuous improvement mindset and proven ability to develop procedures and lead change initiatives.
• Strong communication skills and experience communicating and building relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong commercial attitude and results-driven with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent knowledge of English (verbal/written).

Responsibilities

• Manage and motivate team on-site at customer location, driving a high-performance culture.
• Oversee daily Warehouse Operations, ensuring smooth handling of inbound and outbound high value equipment.
• Demonstrate best practice across all areas of responsibility inspiring people to engage and deliver key business results.
• Oversee mentoring the team to allow them to grow their skills and promote development within the team.
• Implement company people process in a consistent manner to ensure employee development and retention of talent.
• Act as primary point of contact for customer, ensuring strong relationships and service level adherence.
• Monitor Performance metrics, identify improvement areas, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and compliance with SOPs and GDP standards.
