Job summary

NHS Highland is seeking a friendly Ward Receptionist for Ward 4B at Raigmore Hospital. This part-time, fixed-term post is 21.7 hours per week across Monday, Tuesday and Friday shifts and may include evenings, weekends and public holidays.

The successful candidate will provide a courteous inpatient reception, handle telephone inquiries, and support the team with efficient administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in patient reception or inpatient administration.
• Excellent communication and telephone manner.
• Computer literate with ability to use hospital information systems.
• Able to work under pressure and as part of a team.
• Organised with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient reception for Ward 4B.
• Answer calls, greet visitors, and direct to appropriate staff.
