Job summary

KKR is seeking a Vice President, Platform Engineering to lead the ADAPT team's AWS-native platform, Atlassian and ServiceNow ecosystems, and the cloud integrations that connect them to the firm's business systems. This is a hands-on leadership role shaping strategy, delivery, and a multi-year roadmap.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or cloud/integration engineering.
• 3+ years leading senior technical projects.
• Expert-level, hands-on experience with AWS and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Deep experience delivering enterprise integrations across Atlassian (Jira / JSM / Confluence) and ServiceNow, including workflow design and APIs.
• Strong track record delivering event-driven, API-first cloud integrations.

Responsibilities

• Own the vision and multi-year roadmap for the ADAPT platform - AWS-native services, CI/CD, IaC, and integration fabric.
• Lead the design, build, and operation of secure, scalable AWS foundations and IaC patterns.
• Own the engineering strategy for Jira, JSM, Confluence, and ServiceNow platforms.
• Architect and deliver enterprise integrations between AWS, Atlassian, ServiceNow, Workday, and other SaaS platforms.
• Build developer experience, reusable components, and self-service tooling to accelerate the SDLC.
• Ensure the ADAPT platform meets availability, security, and compliance requirements; partner with Cybersecurity.
• Collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders to land changes successfully; mentor engineers.
• Set the technical bar and evangelize modern platform engineering practices.
