Job summary

State Street is seeking an Information Security Architect with deep data protection expertise to design and implement robust security architectures for data at rest, in motion, and in use. You will drive cryptographic solutions and policy enforcement using DSPM, CASB, and SSPM within a regulated environment.

The role emphasizes audits, compliance initiatives, and collaboration with IT, legal, and compliance teams to safeguard sensitive information and ensure industry standards are met.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of information security experience with focus on architecture and data protection.
• Experience in highly regulated industries and compliance landscapes.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP or similar.

Responsibilities

• Define, design, and maintain security architecture for data protection across lifecycle.
• Develop cryptographic solutions and data protection models aligned to regulations.
• Implement DSPM, CASB, and SSPM to enforce data security controls.
• Ensure GDPR/PCI-DSS/HIPAA alignment and perform risk assessments and audits.
• Collaborate with IT, legal, and compliance to embed security into systems.
