Bestseller Retail Ireland Limited in Carlow is seeking a retail sales assistant for Vila at Fairgreen Shopping Centre. The role is fully flexible, 8 hours a week on a seasonal contract, with week and weekend shifts. You will greet customers, help them find products, handle cash and card payments, answer questions, and maintain a tidy store.

The emphasis is on friendly service and teamwork. Familiarity with promotions and displays is welcome; you must be flexible, polite, and smart in appearance,

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is a plus.
• Greet customers and assist with product selection.
• Handle cash and card payments and queries.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service at all times.
• Greet customers entering the shop and assist in finding products.
• Process cash and card payments and balance cash registers.
• Answer queries and give product advice to customers.
• Balance cash receipts and handle refunds as needed.
• Keep the store tidy, including cleaning and displays.
• Deal with customer complaints and maintain a positive environment.
• Receive and store deliveries and stock, and rotate displays.
• Stay up to date with promotions and seasonal displays.

Bestseller Retail Ireland Limited are currently seeking a retail sales assistantto join our team in our Vila store in Fairgreen Shopping Centre, Carlow for 8 hours a week on a seasonal contract. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the team. This position will require the successful candidate to be flexible for week & weekend work.

Job description: Fully Flexible - Seasonal

• This role is a customer service based role - the main objective is the provide exceptional service at all times
• Greeting customers who enter the shop
• Assisting shoppers to find the goods and products they are looking for
• Being responsible for processing cash and card payments
• Answering queries from customers
• Giving advice and guidance on product selection to customers
• Balancing cash registers with receipts
• Dealing with customer refunds
• Keeping the store tidy and clean, this includes hovering and mopping
• Responsible dealing with customer complaints
• Receiving and storing the delivery of large amounts of stock
• Keeping up to date with special promotions and putting up displays
