Job summary

Back 4 Good in Dublin seeks an AI Engineer to develop intelligent tools for video production, collaborating with producers, editors and creative teams to enhance workflows and deliver high-quality content.

You will implement AI-driven video generation, editing, captioning and content enhancement, integrate models and third-party APIs, and ensure reliable software delivery for creative projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong Python programming skills and experience developing APIs.
• Practical knowledge of machine learning, computer vision and generative AI.
• Experience with frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Familiarity with video processing tools, including FFmpeg.
• Ability to test, deploy and maintain dependable software.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and collaborative working skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate AI tools for video generation, editing, captioning, transcription and content enhancement.
• Build automated workflows supporting footage selection, scene detection, asset tagging and post-production.
• Integrate generative video models and third-party APIs into production systems.
• Collaborate with creative teams to translate production briefs into reliable technical solutions.
• Evaluate output quality, consistency, processing speed and operating costs.
• Develop quality controls to identify visual errors and unsuitable generated content.
• Maintain clear technical documentation and support colleagues using new tools.
• Apply appropriate safeguards for copyright, consent, personal data and secure asset handling.
