Beechwood Veterinary Clinic is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and experienced team. We welcome applications from nurses at all stages of their career, from newly qualified Veterinary Nurses seeking their first role through to experienced professionals looking to further develop their clinical skills.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy small animal practice where you'll play an integral role in delivering excellent patient care while working alongside experienced Veterinary Surgeons and a strong support team.

About the Role

As a Veterinary Nurse at Beechwood Veterinary Clinic, you will be involved in all aspects of nursing care within a modern and well‑equipped small animal practice. From inpatient care and anaesthesia monitoring to nurse consultations and client education, you'll have the opportunity to utilise and develop your full nursing skillset.

This is a varied and rewarding position that offers genuine responsibility and autonomy. There will be occasions where you will be the sole Veterinary Nurse on duty, working alongside experienced Veterinary Surgeons and support staff. As such, we're looking for someone who is confident, organised, and able to work independently when required, whilst also being a collaborative and supportive team member.

Whether you're newly qualified and looking to build confidence in a supportive environment or an experienced nurse seeking a role with greater responsibility, we'd love to hear from you.

Working Hours

This is a full‑time permanent position working 40 hours per week.

Our clinic operates a rota system with a mixture of shifts designed to provide excellent patient care while supporting work‑life balance.

The role includes participation in a Saturday rota, with Saturdays worked on a rotational basis as part of the team schedule.

Importantly, there are:

No out‑of‑hours requirements

No Sunday working

No Bank Holiday commitments

As a training‑focused practice, we are committed to supporting professional growth and continuous learning. The clinic is equipped with modern facilities, including ultrasound, in‑house laboratory equipment, and a wide range of diagnostic capabilities. At Beechwood, you'll join a close‑knit team that values clinical excellence, teamwork, and the wellbeing of both patients and colleagues.
