Job summary

IC Resources is seeking an experienced Verification Manager for its Cork site in Ireland. The role blends hands-on technical work with management, shaping verification strategy and delivering across the product lifecycle from early development to silicon.

The ideal candidate will lead digital verification engineers, drive verification methodologies, and collaborate across design, firmware, software and product engineering teams. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or managing digital verification engineers.
• Strong background in ASIC or SoC verification.
• Strong SystemVerilog and UVM experience.
• Experience developing verification strategies, testbenches and environments.
• Experience with coverage driven verification and verification planning.
• Knowledge of Verilog AMS and mixed signal verification would be beneficial.
• Experience with embedded processor based systems.
• Exposure to automotive or safety critical semiconductor development.
• Knowledge of ISO 26262 would be advantageous.
• Experience with Cadence verification tools.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across design, firmware, software and product engineering teams.
• Hands on technical approach with strong problem solving skills.

I’m working with an established semiconductor company that is expanding its engineering organisation in Ireland and is looking to hire a Verification Manager for its Cork site.

The Verification Manager role will combine technical and management responsibilities, with the successful candidate remaining close to verification strategy, technical discussions and project delivery rather than becoming purely people focused.

The role will give the Verification Manager the opportunity to influence verification methodologies, processes and team development while working across the wider product lifecycle from early development through to silicon.

What They’re Looking For

• Previous experience leading or managing digital verification engineers
• Strong background in ASIC or SoC verification
• Strong SystemVerilog and UVM experience
• Experience developing verification strategies, testbenches and verification environments
• Experience with coverage driven verification and verification planning
