Job summary

Elk Recruitment is seeking a motivated Van Driver for a 4-6 week temporary full‑time contract based in Carlow. You will operate company delivery vans and represent our client with professionalism.

Immediate start, €160 per day. You will plan routes, load and unload goods, and maintain accurate delivery documentation while coordinating with dispatch and customers.

Qualifications

• Valid Irish B License with a clean driving record is essential.
• Proven experience as a van driver is essential.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy goods safely and efficiently.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to meet delivery deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Operating company delivery vans safely and efficiently.
• Loading and then offloading the goods upon reaching the site.
• Planning and following the most efficient routes for deliveries to meet deadlines.
• Communicating effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
• Maintaining delivery logs and paperwork accurately and submitting reports as required.
