Qualifications

• 6+ years of valuation experience in Asset Management, Advisory, Banking or related environment.
• Strong valuation experience across Private Equity, Private Debt, Infrastructure, Real Estate, Leveraged Finance.
• Advanced financial modelling and valuation methodologies.
• Experience presenting complex valuation analysis to clients and senior stakeholders.
• CFA, CAIA, FRM or equivalent professional qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead valuation assessments across a portfolio of private markets and alternative funds.
• Apply appropriate valuation methodologies to complex illiquid assets.
• Prepare and present valuation analyses and reports to clients, boards and senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with investment managers, fund administrators, auditors and third‑party valuation providers.
• Develop valuation policies, frameworks and best practice.
• Mentor junior team members and support their development.
• Conduct market and valuation research to support client engagements.

Senior Manager / Associate Director – Valuations (Private Markets)

The Opportunity

A leading, technology-enabled funds and asset management solutions provider is continuing to invest in the growth of its Valuations function and is seeking an experienced Senior Manager / Associate Director to join its Dublin team.

This is a senior client-facing opportunity within a growing private markets platform, offering exposure to complex valuation assignments across alternative investments while working closely with investment managers, boards, auditors and other key stakeholders.

The role combines technical valuation expertise with client engagement, commercial judgement and the opportunity to contribute to the continued evolution of a highly respected valuation platform.

The Role

You will play a leading role in the valuation oversight of complex private market investments while acting as a trusted adviser to clients and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading valuation assessments across a portfolio of private market and alternative investment funds.
• Applying appropriate valuation methodologies across complex illiquid assets.
• Preparing and presenting valuation analysis and reporting to clients, boards and senior stakeholders.
• Working closely with investment managers, fund administrators, auditors and third-party valuation providers.
• Developing valuation policies, frameworks and best practice.
• Supporting proposals, presentations and thought leadership initiatives.
• Mentoring junior team members and contributing to their ongoing development.
• Conducting market, industry and valuation research to support client engagements.

The Individual

This role will suit an experienced valuation professional who enjoys combining analytical rigour with client interaction and commercial judgement. You are likely to bring;

• 6+ years' valuation experience within Asset Management, Advisory, Banking, Accounting or a related environment.
• Strong valuation experience across one or more of the following: Private Equity, Private Debt, Infrastructure, Real Estate, Leveraged Finance
• Strong experience in financial modelling and valuation methodologies.
• Experience presenting complex valuation analysis to clients and senior stakeholders.
• CFA, CAIA, FRM or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
• A collaborative approach with strong communication/stakeholder management skills.
• Previous people management, supervisory and/or mentorship experience would be highly desirable.
